My name is Jennifer T. Señadoza , and I was born on April 9, 2007 . Now at 18 years old, I look back on a journey defined by growth, change, and cherished memories. My education began at Maranatha Christian Academy (MCA) from Kindergarten to Grade 2, but a new chapter opened in Grade 3 when my mother transferred me to Maitim Elementary School . Looking back, Grade 4 was the most joyful time of my childhood; it felt like a life without problems, filled with nothing but laughter, running around during recess, and the simple excitement of "loveteams." I vividly remember the "drama" of my childhood when I was asked to choose between my long-time crush, Joshua, and our classmate Tobal. When I chose Joshua, Tobal actually cried, asking why it couldn't be him! Those days were filled with innocence, especially the quiet walks home with Joshua at the end of the school day. However, by Grade 6, our big plans for a grand graduation were suddenly halted by the COVID-19 pan...

Our family getaway to Boracay was the ultimate "happy travel" experience, a journey where every sunrise brought a new reason to smile and every sunset left us with a heart full of gratitude. From the moment we stepped onto the island’s famous powdery white sand, the stresses of daily life vanished, replaced by the rhythmic sound of the waves and the infectious laughter of the people I love most. Boracay is more than just a world-class destination; for us, it became a playground for bonding and a sanctuary for making memories that will last a lifetime. The highlight of our travelogue has to be the afternoon we spent conquering the waves together. Nothing quite compares to the thrill of a family banana boat ride. One of our favorite photos captures us perfectly: all of us lined up on that giant yellow inflatable, clad in bright red life vests, our faces a mix of pure adrenaline and joy as the speedboat pulled us across the crystal-clear turquoise waters. The moment the boat mad...

Last  June 9, 2025, the Western Laguna District Choir embarked on a journey that was about much more than just a destination; it was a profound spiritual pilgrimage to the AATF Sports Complex in Imus, Cavite. Being a member of this choir is a sacred privilege, and this trip served as a powerful reminder of our shared mission to serve through music. The road to Cavite was alive with "happy travel" energy, as our group filled the time with laughter, shared stories, and the quiet hum of voices practicing harmonies. Standing together at the AATF Sports Complex, the sense of unity was overwhelming. Dressed in our signature navy and white attire, we stood as a unified front, representing the heart of Western Laguna. To be part of such a large and dedicated ensemble is a humbling experience; it reminds us that while our individual voices are unique, we are strongest when blended together in faith. Every moment of the day, from the formal district photos to the massive group shots, w...

Our trip to Marikina started with the kind of effortless joy that only happens when you’re with the right people. We set off early, the car filled with the chaotic energy of a "barkada" on a mission snacks being passed around, windows rolled down, and the air thick with laughter and stories. There is a specific kind of magic in a local road trip; you don’t need a passport to feel like you’re on a grand adventure. As we navigated the streets of Marikina, the day was less about the destination and more about the shared "happy travel" vibes that turn a simple Saturday into a core memory. The heart of our journey was the Home Free Global Crusade . We had all grown up hearing about The Katinas a band that reached legendary status in the United States and across the globe for their smooth, soulful harmonies and powerful message of faith. Knowing they were bringing that world-class talent to our local community felt like a bridge was being built between Marikina and the...

A Grand Welcome: Heritage, Hugs, and High Clouds  Sometimes, the best part of a journey is the beginning. My Auntie and Uncle recently traveled all the way from the United States for a long-awaited homecoming. While their itinerary included a grand  cruise ship  adventure, our time together on land in Manila was the true highlight for me. The Heart of Manila We met at the iconic  Luneta Park , a place that perfectly represents the roots they’ve kept despite living across the ocean. Standing by the Rizal Monument, I felt a surge of pride and joy. My Auntie looked radiant in her white lace top, and my Uncle’s smile was as warm as the Manila sun. It was a moment of pure connection no screens, no time zones, just family. As we walked through the park with our  Penshoppe  bags, it felt like no time had passed at all. We shared stories and laughter, making every minute count. I wanted to make sure they felt the warmth of "home" before they embarked on the next le...
